All AI Meeting Notes have their own sharing settings. Select Share at the top of the note to choose who can open it.
Meeting notes created from /meet are embedded in a page, but you can expand them into a full page and share them separately from the rest of the page content.
Audio for an AI Meeting Notes block is stored on the recorder's local device and only available to the recorder for download.

Yes, AI Meeting Notes can be turned off by a workspace owner.

Enable Meeting notes for workspace.
Local audio storage is off by default. To enable this capability, workspace owners can toggle on Store audio locally.

The Notion desktop app observes if a user has a process running on their computer that is actively using their microphone (e.g. Zoom) to provide these notifications. Notion does not listen to the audio coming from your microphone to provide these notifications. Notion records audio only when using AI Meeting Notes. This behavior can be disabled by going to Settings → Notifications and toggling off Desktop meeting detection notifications.

Not at this time. Custom instructions must be created directly from Instructions at the bottom of the meeting notes block.

Notion detects when speakers are shifting in audio, then uses context from non-audio sources (for example, calendar event information) to label speakers. Speaker labeling happens within a single meeting only.

A meetings database is built for meeting note pages. It includes meeting details like Title, Date, and Attendees. New pages in that database are created as meeting notes.

Yes. If a meeting note is linked to a recurring calendar event, you can move it to the right meetings database and choose to file future notes from that event series there too.

Yes. Go to Library → Skills, select ••• on a skill, then Show skill to turn it on for During meetings, After meetings, or both. During and after are separate lists, and each one holds up to 12 skills.
